The Villa dates back to the XVIth century, when it consisted of
two buildings: a manor and a farmhouse. Around 1840 the two buildings
were joined, giving the Villa its current architectural shape.
At that time most of the rooms were decorated with frescoes which
were recently discovered during restoration work, having previously
been painted over and hidden.

Villa La Fonte estate has recently been fully remodeled and restored.
This careful restoration has created a very special ambiance:
elegant, cozy and appealing.
There are three untis available for your vacation: "La
Fonte Antica", "Le
Fontanine" and "Il
Giardiniere".
Villa
La Fonte is an ideal location for visiting Florence, but also
convenient to Chianti and Siena ( aproximately 40 minutes by car
), as well as to Pisa, Lucca and Arezzo ( approximately 60 minutes
on the autostrada )
Distance to Florence "Peretola" Airport: 20 minutes.
Distance to Main train station "Santa Maria Novella":
10 minutes.
